Theatre Member Portal
The Theatre Member Portal is where cast and crew members will find rehearsal videos.
Benefits for Actors, Crew, and Production
- Review performance: Actors watch footage to check their emotional delivery, facial expressions, and vocal projection.
- Refine blocking: Performers check their physical positioning, spacing, and movement on stage to make sure they match the director's vision.
- Memorize lines: Reviewing audio or video recordings helps actors study line readings and pacing outside of rehearsal hours.
- Perfect technical cues: Stage managers, lighting operators, and sound designers use recordings to sync light changes, audio effects, and scene shifts with the action on stage.
- Document spacing: Crew members track where props and set pieces need to be placed during transitions.
- Train replacements: Video archives serve as a reference if an understudy or replacement actor needs to step into a role later in the run.
IMPORTANT NOTE
To access the Theatre Member Portal, you will need to first register. To ensure only the current cast and crew members have access, all registrations are individually approved. Once your access is approved, you will receive an email. If you do not receive the approval email within 48 hours, please email eddie@sgcas.org
It is a direct violation of our standards of conduct for any participant or participant's family members or friends to download and publish these videos or pictures at any time for any reason without written permission from the director of standards and safety. Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate removal of the participant from the theatre program indefinitely.
